I was very fortunate to be one of the attendees at Kathy Eyster's presentation on converting digital color files to black and white. Believe it or not, there is a major difference between just flipping one's camera to black and white settings, taking the photograph vs.

How to shrink one or many photos to a specific size for the web.

Some sites need huge files (24 MEGA BYTES - like SmugMug photography sites) and some only want 1 MB (like Photobucket - Facebook) or less. Typical web size asked for is 640x480 px (pixels) to be displayed on pages like the one you are on now. So how do you shrink these larger files?
