The Light Scriber site privacy policy

This site collects personal information at the time of original registration and during the comment or reply submission. None of the data collected by this site is used for any reason other than to verify the registrant/commenter is 1) a human being vs. a malicious robot or personage with intent to do harm 2) Verifying the returning user/registrant has permission to return to the site as a registered user/if a registered user.  The data collected by the site is never sold or shared with anyone else or any third party unless the user has clicked through via any affiliate marketing link to another site, the user has engaged any security system that needs to verify the validity of the request to place content on the site or if mandated by law as in the case of a legal and enforceable subpoena in the event of National security.

A browser tracking cookie may be used in conjunction with the use of this site to gather user’s data regarding interest of pages and content. No personably identifying information is gathered knowingly and really isn’t needed by this specific site.

This site may employ use of affiliate marketing systems that if engaged (clicked on) by the user will then link/connect the user to that desired website. At the point of departure from this site, any and all information shared with any other site by the user is considered between that user and the new site. No information (i.e. Address, credit card information) is recorded or retained by this site in conjunction with the user’s interactions with other sites. This site shall be held harmless from any use of other sites for any purpose even though this site may be the referring site. 

 The Light Scriber site and it’s web staff, does all it can to ensure the site is free of any malicious harmful software but shall be held harmless at all times for any possible damage by the use of this site. By using this site any and all users do so at their own risk. In the event of a breach, this site will do all it can to minimize the damage to the site and any data stored within but shall not be held liable should said data be illegally extracted and used in a malicious manner of any kind.

Any and all links leading to any sites not controlled by The Light Scriber are considered off site and the user proceeds to the other sites at their own risk. It is advised to read the privacy policies of each site the user visits to know their policies before proceeding. The Light Scriber will be held harmless from any interaction the user has with other sites even if The Light Scriber is the referring site.

All posts, comments, blog posts, articles, blarticles created by individual posters are considered the responsibility of each individual content contributor and not necessarily the  expressed views of The Light Scriber, site owner or operators.
